Ice Skating

It is great to have children rewarded for their skill- we have had a child invited to take up a skating scholarship through the Why Nott? Programme. We cannot begin to describe the effect this has had on her self-esteem and profile within school. – Crab Tree Farm Primary

Attendance has been improved… there are a number of children with moderate to severe learning difficulties who have really benefited from the programme, it has been very inclusive”. – Nottingham Academy

Urban Hockey

Urban Hockey is a fast moving, exciting playground sport which is helping children of all ages to engage in PE.

Based on the game of ice hockey, participants learn to stickhandle, pass and shoot like the pros.
This exciting sport can be played by anyone irrespective of age or ability and is used by many local schools to support their PE lessons since 2007. It has been developed to teach youngsters the basic and fundamental skills of hockey, whilst providing a unique opportunity for children who may not engage in sporting activities.
