David is a Chartered Safety and Health Practitioner with over 11 years’ experience in supporting schools with their health and safety compliance.
He has a BSc (Hons) in Occupational Safety and Health Management, which he studied at Nottingham Trent University. His philosophy is that schools should be able to manage risk sensibly in an uncomplicated manner so that they can concentrate on teaching and learning.
Nick graduated from the Sports Science and Administration degree course at Nottingham Trent University in 1994.
He has been employed at Nottingham City Council for the past 22 years, working initially within Sports Development and, since 1998, within PE & School Sport. His current role involves delivering the Government’s School Games programme and working with all City Schools to develop a comprehensive PE, sport and physical activity programme for all young people in Nottingham.
Sue is our new main contact for Why Nott? Transport.
Sue joined Nottingham City Council in December 2013 as an escort for Passenger Transport (children and adults). She had a regular run for 3 days a week and assisted with administration for the other 2 days. Sue was then successful in securing her present post organising transport for school trips, swimming and ice skating in July 2014, within Transport Commissioning at Woolsthorpe Depot. After working in partnership with Sue for a number of years, this month we are very pleased to welcome Sue into our team based at The College Street Centre. Sue is looking forward to working directly with schools on behalf of Why Nott? Transport.
