Newstead Abbey KS2 Camps

[We] really enjoyed the camp this year and had a wonderful time. We would like to return next year!” – Glenbrook Primary

Following on from the hugely popular Wollaton Camps, the Adventure Team has devised the next stepping-stone – The Newstead Abbey Camps!
Set in the gardens and parkland of Newstead Abbey, once home to the notorious poet Lord Byron, the camp gives participants new adventurous experiences that are a step up from those offered at Wollaton. These sessions can include climbing, archery, team-building/orienteering and new literacy and history activities in the Abbey and grounds.
Newstead Camps are scheduled for the first half of the Summer term and September each year and are aimed at Years 4-6. Schools can also ‘team up’ with each other and bring mixed groups from each school up to the maximum of 60 pupils per night.
